INSTRUCTIONS
The Expanded Postanesthetic Recovery Score for Patients Having Anesthesia on Ambulatory Basis (PARSAP) is used specifically to determine discharge readiness from Phase II recovery (or from the PACU to home) in outpatient or same-day surgery settings.
