Use this calculator to estimate the likelihood of melioidosis in adults presenting with community-acquired bacterial pneumonia in endemic settings.
Higher scores indicate higher suspicion for melioidosis. A score of 4 or more suggests high suspicion, while a score of 5 or more suggests very high suspicion and higher specificity.
