INSTRUCTIONS
Use this calculator to estimate perioperative mortality risk in patients being considered for bariatric surgery. The OS-MRS assigns one point for each of five preoperative risk factors: BMI ≥50 kg/m², male sex, hypertension, age ≥45 years, and the presence of risk factors for pulmonary embolism.
