INSTRUCTIONS
The Cancer Therapy–Related Cardiac Dysfunction (CTRCD) Nomogram is a prognostic risk assessment tool developed from a cohort of 1,377 women with stage I–III HER2-positive breast cancer treated with trastuzumab-based therapy. The model combines age, BMI, race, anthracycline exposure, systolic blood pressure, baseline left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, and diabetes to estimate the probability of developing CTRCD within the first year of treatment.
The tool is intended to support cardio-oncology risk stratification, identify patients who may benefit from closer cardiac surveillance, and facilitate discussions regarding preventive cardiovascular strategies during cancer treatment.
